Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care inpatient experience for a hospital-based PT Acute Care position requiring an MA license.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting, working within an inpatient PT unit
- Primary patient population includes adults with orthopedic, neurological, ICU, and oncology diagnoses
- Standard schedule is 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with Wednesday shifts running 10:00 AM–6:30 PM
- Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule
- Very limited weekend shifts required
- Epic EMR experience is preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care inpatient PT experience required
- Active Massachusetts PT license required (license required if applicable)
- BLS certification required
- 2 professional references required for consideration, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
- Must meet the 200-mile radius requirement from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
Additional Information
- Treatment focus includes ortho, neuro, ICU, and oncology adult patients
- A pass/fail EKG test is required as part of the onboarding process
- Previous Epic experience is preferred but not required
