Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring Cardiac Tele and Nephrology experience, with EKG testing required prior to start.

Details

• Inpatient Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes cardiac telemetry and nephrology med/surg cases
• Patient ratio of 1:7-8
• Floating is required
• Day shift schedule (3x12-hour shifts), 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend or two weekends per month required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license — TN or Compact license required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required; ACLS preferred
• Prior Cardiac Telemetry experience required
• Prior Nephrology Med/Surg experience required
• Must be able to pass an EKG test prior to the start of assignment

Additional Information

• Orientations are held bi-weekly
• RTO will not be accommodated during any holiday or holiday week, including: Valentine's Day, Local Spring Break, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Local Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day — travelers may discuss holiday RTO with the manager after arriving onsite
