Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel contract in Sierra Vista, AZ, requiring at least 2 years of ER experience and certifications including ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC.
Details
- Work setting is a 22-bed Emergency Department at a community hospital in Sierra Vista, AZ
- Patient population includes all ages and acuity levels, including traumas, STEMIs, strokes, cardiac, GI, and psychiatric cases
- Patient ratios are 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 for critical care, and 6:1 for fast track
- Trauma and pediatric experience preferred
- EMR system is Cerner
- Shift is 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM (12-hour evening/night shift)
- Schedule requires 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period
- No float or on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active AZ RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
- Scrubs in any color or print are acceptable; non-scrubs, t-shirts, open-toe shoes, hoodies, and leggings are not permitted
- The hospital serves a diverse regional population of over 131,000 in southeastern Arizona, situated 75 miles southeast of Tucson
