Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT registration in mammography for a 13-week contract in an inpatient/outpatient setting using Epic.

Details

• Mammography unit within an acute care hospital setting serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Procedures include 3D mammography (DBT), diagnostic mammograms, and screening mammograms
• Epic EMR experience required
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call shifts required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience required
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings required
• ARRT (R) certification and registration in mammography required
• Current BLS required
• Ohio state license required if applicable
• 8 initial CE hours/training in Digital Mammography required
• 8 initial CE hours/training in 3D DBT required
• Epic EMR experience required
• For consideration, candidates must provide: a report showing number of mammograms performed since October 2023, a list of 25 mammograms completed under supervision during training, any breast imaging CE certificates earned since October 2022, mammography training certificate or other training documentation/diplomas, ARRT 'Verification of Certification & Registration' document showing registry exam dates, and ARRT Procedure Log completed during mammography training (required if certification was after July 2017)

• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted for this Radiology position
• Every other holiday coverage is required
• Any RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial application — no RTO will be added after an offer is extended, and approval is at the manager's discretion
