Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for an acute care hospital position in Apple Valley, CA, requiring active CA OT licensure and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with 212 staffed beds
- OT Acute Care unit
- Day shift, 5x8 schedule (8:00–16:30)
- 13-week contract
- Free parking on-site
- Charting via Epic EMR
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state
Requirements
- Active CA OT license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of OT experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Block scheduling requests are considered at manager discretion
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; post-submission RTO requests may be denied
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be subject to a different pay rate
- Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in assignment termination
