Description
American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract, with Epic charting experience required and first-time travelers welcome.
Details
- Hospital-based vascular ultrasound unit
- Procedures include aorta, arterial graft studies, arterial mapping, carotid, color flow, dialysis grafts, Doppler studies, duplex, lower and upper extremity arterial and venous studies, stents, M-Mode, peripheral vascular resistance, renal artery duplex, and transcranial Doppler
- Equipment includes GE, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite, and PACS systems
- 4x10 hour night shifts, Monday–Thursday, 7:30 PM – 6:00 AM
- May float to a nearby sister hospital
- Epic EMR experience required — no exceptions
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rates
Requirements
- Minimum of 1–2 years of vascular ultrasound/sonography experience required
- Active Oregon (OR) state license required — no pending licenses accepted
- Current BLS certification required
- Proficiency with Epic charting is mandatory
- COVID vaccination required — no exemptions
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been separated for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
- RTO requests are strict — all time-off requests must be disclosed upfront and cannot be modified after submission; additional requests after submission may result in cancellation
- This is a 13-week minimum contract; interest in a longer assignment should be noted
