Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position in an Internal Medicine unit, requiring a GA or Compact RN license and at least 18 months of telemetry experience.
Details
- Position is located in an Internal Medicine unit (5E) within a hospital setting
- Specialty focus is telemetry (TELE)
- 12-hour day shifts (AM)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 18 months of telemetry nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff of Emory or Houston facilities must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system; if returning to the same facility, a minimum of 18 months separation is required
- RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or a maximum of 3 days if RTO falls on or near a holiday
- Only one holiday RTO request will be approved per contract
- RTO requests must be spread out and will not be approved for consecutive days during the holiday period
