Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (including Post-Partum and Nursery) travel position at a Critical Access Hospital in Vermont, requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience and flexibility to float to multiple units on nights.

Details

• Work in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont
• Position covers Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, and Nursery (Baby Unit)
• Night shift schedule
• Float responsibilities include coverage for other units and Progressive Care Unit overflow
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active VT or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, PALS, and NRP
• Minimum 5 years of L&D nursing experience required
• Experience in Post-Partum and Nursery care required
• Personal transportation is strongly recommended due to limited public transit in the area

• Responsibilities span Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, Nursery, and perioperative care, as well as overflow support for the Progressive Care Unit
• Agency professionals are required to attend department quarterly education sessions
