Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Oncology Infusion Center position requiring strong oncology/infusion experience and chemotherapy certification, with a 4x10 day shift schedule.
Details
- Located in a hospital-based oncology infusion center setting
- Serves a cancer patient population requiring infusion therapy, including chemotherapy, electrolytes, and blood products
- Connected to an oncology urgent care unit to accommodate add-on patients or those requiring provider assessment
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Schedule is four 10-hour day shifts (7:00–17:30)
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required as scheduled
- Floating may be required within the specialty as needed
Requirements
- Active RN license in Maryland (MD) or a Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy certification
- Strong oncology and infusion nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include administration of chemotherapy, electrolytes, and blood products
- Any time-off requests should be disclosed upfront during the consideration process
