Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel IR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Denver, CO, requiring a minimum of 6 months of current acute care IR Tech experience and ARRT (R) certification.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit with 1 IR suite and 4 holding bays
• Day shift staffing includes 2 techs and 2–3 RNs; night shift operates with 1 tech and 1 RN on call
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Uses GE Allura imaging equipment
• EMR: Meditech with Centricity PACS
• Procedures include lung, liver, and kidney biopsies, port/line placements, drain placements, para/thoracentesis, kyphoplasty, and sedation support for MRI and CT departments
• Day shift: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Weekday and weekend on-call rotation required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care IR Tech experience
• Active ARRT (R) and current BLS (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Strong organizational skills
• No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• License required if applicable

• Preferred candidates will have critical care and IR experience along with expert knowledge of vascular procedures
