Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist at a Level I Trauma Center in Columbus, Ohio, with ARRT certification in CT and Radiography and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Large academic Level I Trauma Center hospital setting
• High-volume CT department processing approximately 270–290 scans per day
• 3x12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays covered as assigned
• On-call as assigned within staff rotation
• Epic EMR in use
• GE and Toshiba/Canon CT equipment currently in use

Requirements

• ARRT certification in both CT and Radiography (CT and XR) required
• OH state license required; pending license accepted
• Current BLS required
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required; less may be considered for candidates with Level I or Level II Trauma experience
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Large hospital or Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Experience with GE and/or Toshiba/Canon CT equipment preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Performs diagnostic CT and radiographic procedures following ARRT and facility guidelines
• Responsibilities include patient preparation, proper positioning, and adherence to radiation safety protocols for both patient and operator
• Charcoal grey scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• First-time travelers not explicitly excluded, though Level I/II trauma experience is strongly preferred
