Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in Vail, CO, requiring active CO or compact RN licensure and a minimum of 1 year of OR experience.
Details
- Operating Room position at a main hospital facility in Vail, Colorado
- Circulator role within the OR
- Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts per week
Requirements
- Active CO RN license or valid compact state RN license required
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 1 year of OR/circulating nursing experience required
- CAPS (Colorado Adult Protective Services) registration may be required and can take up to two weeks to obtain — candidates should apply promptly
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include providing individualized, compassionate nursing care for OR patients and their families
- Collaborates with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes and safety
- Administers medications, performs treatments, and assists in procedures in accordance with patient safety guidelines
- Must demonstrate strong critical thinking, prioritization, and independent practice skills
- HIPAA compliance is required
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
