Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation (IRF) travel position in Longview, TX, requiring a minimum of 2 years of rehab nursing experience and every-other-weekend availability.

Details

36-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting
Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
7-week contract
Patient population includes individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
Every other weekend required

Requirements

Active TX RN license or Compact RN license (must be active at time of consideration)
Minimum 2 years of inpatient rehabilitation nursing experience
AHA certifications required (BLS at minimum; bring applicable AHA certs)
SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

Provides individualized, intensive rehabilitation nursing care throughout each patient's recovery journey
Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
