Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehab RN for a 6-week travel contract at an acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Longview, TX, requiring a minimum of 2 years of rehab nursing experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

36-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital (IRF) setting
Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Patient population includes individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
Every other weekend required
6-week contract

Requirements

Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
AHA certifications required (copies required for consideration)
Minimum 2 years of inpatient rehab RN experience
SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

Provide comprehensive nursing care within an intensive inpatient rehabilitation program focused on maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life
Candidates must not have been permanently employed at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
Candidates must not be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
