Description
Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in Denver, CO. Use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will be responsible for operation and quality assurance of imaging equipment, patient monitoring, and supporting vascular and non-vascular procedures in an acute hospital IR suite.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of current acute care Interventional Radiology Technologist experience (client requirement).
- ARRT (R) certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with GE Allura fluoroscopy equipment preferred.
- Experience with Meditech and Centricity PACS preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a busy, team-based environment.
- State radiologic technologist license for Colorado.
Preferred Qualifications
- Critical care experience.
- Expert knowledge of vascular procedures.
- Experience performing procedures such as lung, liver, kidney biopsies, port/line placements, drain placements, paracentesis/thoracentesis, kyphoplasty, and sedation support for MRI/CT.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 0800-1730.
- On-call required during the week and includes a weekend rotation.
- Unit configuration: 1 IR suite and 4 holding bays; typical staffing includes 2 techs and 2–3 RNs on days; night coverage includes 1 tech and 1 RN on call.
