Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• RCIS or RCES required. Candidates with RCIS or RCES must be willing and able to apply for registration as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA prior to starting work.
• Experience with Philips cath lab equipment preferred.
• Experience using Meditech and Mac-Lab EMR systems preferred.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation, including nights and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT (CI) or (CV) preferred.
• EP scrubbing experience preferred.
• Prior Meditech experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 06:30–16:30.
• On-call responsibilities include rotating nights of call and weekends.
• On-call requirement: approximately 7–8 days of call per month, including one weekend.
• May be required to respond within approximately 30 minutes for call coverage within the South Denver area.

Impacting the Quality of Care for Patients Nationwide

As a traveling Cath Lab Tech, you provide critical support that affects patient outcomes. You will work in a 272-bed hospital with two cath suites, performing basic cath lab skills, scrubbing and monitoring, and participating in conscious moderate sedation procedures. The unit typically staffs 3–5 techs and 2–4 RNs on day shift with night coverage handled via on-call staffing. The director will consider experienced EP techs.
