CT / Rad Tech Job Details – South Bend, IN
- Location: South Bend, IN 46601 (Indiana healthcare jobs)
- Setting: Cath Lab (Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory)
- Assignment Type: Travel CT / Rad Tech contract
- Start Date: December 8, 2025
- End Date: March 9, 2026
- Duration: 13-week travel assignment
- Shift: 5x8-Hour Days (07:00 - 15:30; includes late team rotation)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2450-$2510
- Call Requirement: 1 night per week and every 4th weekend
- Float Requirement: May float to Interventional Radiology or affiliate hospitals as needed
- Holiday Requirement: As needed by department
- Scrub Color: Light blue (provided)
- Charting System: Cerner
CT / Radiologic Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT / Rad Tech (2 years preferred; first-time travelers welcome)
- Active or pending Indiana state license (Indiana radiology jobs)
- Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS; CCI RCES/RCIS and ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
- Experience with Cerner charting system
- Community hospital experience required
- Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I preferred
- Previous travel healthcare experience preferred
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- Ability to complete up to 8 hours of pre-start modules
- Strong professional conduct and communication skills
CT / Rad Tech Responsibilities – Cath Lab
- Perform Cath Lab procedures: hemodynamic monitoring, pacemaker implants, STEMI response, and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Assist with advanced procedures: Rotablader athrectomy, EP ablations, coil embolization, and peripheral vascular cases
- Obtain vital signs, start IVs, and perform phlebotomy as needed
- Float to Interventional Radiology or affiliate hospitals based on patient volume
- Participate in late team rotation and complete daily case assignments
- Maintain sterile field and ensure proper equipment setup for all procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, physical therapy, and rapid response
- Adhere to hospital policies and uphold high standards of professional conduct
