Registered Nurse (RN) - Temp Position

Location: Sun City West, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Requirements

• Candidates with an Arizona home address on their driver’s license will NOT be considered (a copy of the driver’s license must be included in submission).
• Minimum 24 months of current ICU experience is required.
• Certifications must be from American Heart Association (AHA) OR American Red Cross, active at time of submission and included in submission.
• No license hits allowed.
• Active Arizona RN license required at time of submission (verification must be less than 30 days old). Compact license allowed but must be active.
• Flu vaccination required; declinations can be applied for (vaccination status must be noted in submission).
• Background requirements are strict and must be adhered to and attested immediately.
• Travel experience is preferred.

Submission Requirements

• Fully completed Banner Cover Page with all requested information.
• Resume listing all facilities, facility size, bed count, trauma level, and units worked in.
• Skills checklist specific to nursing discipline, dated within the last year.
• Include driver’s license copy (non-AZ address only).
• All requested departments and shifts the candidate is willing to work must be clearly indicated.
• Return to Office (RTO) requests must be less than 7 days, cannot be during the first week of assignment or holidays, and will not be approved in those periods.

Facility Overview

• Acute care hospital with 404 licensed beds, located in northwest metropolitan Phoenix.
• Specializes in cardiac services, women’s health and maternity, robotic surgery, orthopedics, and nationally recognized stroke care.
• Campus includes a base for a medical helicopter.
• Emphasizes patient and family involvement in care decisions through a Partners in Caring program.

Additional Notes

• Learning modules must be completed prior to assignment start.
• Non-billable hours are adjusted to 16 hours per assignment.
• Assignments may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty.
• Start date should be on or very soon after the order start date.

This position is ideal for experienced ICU RNs who meet the strict licensure, certification, and compliance requirements and are open to working in multiple departments and shifts within the facility.
