Job Summary

Seeking an Interventional Radiology professional with specialty in Radiology / Cardiology for a travel/contract position.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Illinois
• Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience within the last year
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• 2 to 3 years of undergraduate education or equivalent
• Experience working with Pediatric, Neonate, and Maternal-Fetal patients
• Experience in a Clinic setting
• Experience with c-arm/fluoroscopy

• On Call: Not required
• Meal Break Length: 30 minutes
• Weekend Requirement: No

Certifications & Verifications Required

• ARRT and IEMA certifications must be current and verified within 30 days of start.
• Background checks including 7-year criminal background check, education verification, and state-specific healthcare worker registry compliance.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, confirming good health and ability to perform job duties.
• Fit mask test (3M Aura 1870+), updated annually.
• Drug screening (10 panel) within 30 days of start.
• Immunizations and health documents including:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray (updated annually)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella immunity or vaccination
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or declination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
  • COVID-19 vaccination or declination

Additional Requirements

• Completion of competency exams and color blindness testing.
• Compliance with Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry fingerprinting and eligibility requirements.
• Completion of facility-specific training modules and policy acknowledgements prior to start.
• OSHA Respiratory Safety clearance if fit test is failed.

Summary

This is a 12-week travel contract position for an Interventional Radiology technologist with ARRT and IEMA licenses, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and knowledge of c-arm/fluoroscopy. The role does not require on-call or weekend work. Candidates must meet extensive health, background, and compliance requirements specific to Illinois healthcare regulations.
