🏥 Travel RN – Coronary Care Unit (CCU) – Crisis Rate

Facility: Albany Medical Center
Location: Albany, NY
Unit: Coronary Care Unit (Cardiac ICU)
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 03/16/2026
Schedule: 48 Hours Guaranteed (48GH Required)
Weekends: Every Other
Holidays: Rotating

📋 Job Description

Albany Medical Center is seeking an experienced Travel RN for the Coronary Care Unit (Cardiac ICU). The nurse will provide high-acuity cardiac critical care to adult patients requiring advanced monitoring and interventions.

Responsibilities include:
Managing critically ill cardiac patients
Hemodynamic monitoring
Titration of vasoactive drips
Ventilator management
Responding to cardiac emergencies
Collaboration with multidisciplinary ICU team
Documentation in Epic EMR
⚠️ Block scheduling is NOT available.

✅ Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Cardiac ICU experience strongly preferred
- MICU experience acceptable
Epic experience REQUIRED
Active NY RN License (No local candidates – per AMC county restrictions)
Must complete competency test within 24 hours of submission
BLS & ACLS (standard ICU requirement)
Navy blue scrubs required
Must be willing to work 48 hours/week
