Job Title: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)
Location: Amarillo, TX 79106
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift Schedule:
Sunday – Tuesday Every Other Saturday
Includes 5–6 Call Shifts per Month

Candidate Requirement:
Must reside 100 miles from the facility

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to support the main facility's Emergency Room. The technologist will operate a Siemens CT scanner while delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced ER environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic imaging equipment

• Adjust technical factors based on patient body habitus

• Position patients accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images

• Review physician orders and obtain relevant clinical information

• Produce high-quality radiographs while minimizing radiation exposure

• Assist physicians during procedures, including:

  • Room preparation

  • Supply management

  • Contrast administration support

  • Responding to contrast reactions and emergency codes

• Schedule and complete imaging exams efficiently

• Enter accurate documentation and charge codes

• Maintain compliance with safety and imaging protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience

• Competency in X-ray imaging required

• ARRT Certification required

• Texas Medical Board (TMB) License required

• Willingness to train in POC Lab procedures
