Description

RN PCU

Location: Fayetteville, NC

Shift: Nights 4x12
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Travelers should indicate whether they are interested in 36 hours or 48 hours per week at submission. If not specified, the facility will assume 36 hours/week.

Unit Details

Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Patient Ratio: Typically 1:4–5
Nurses care for patients who require closer monitoring than Med-Surg but do not need ICU-level care.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of PCU/Step-Down experience required.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Must be comfortable floating to similar units as needed.

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
