Be sure this is added to the application prior to submitting in order to avoid delay. Also note, ICU exp does not count towards SD/PCU exp at this facility, therefore, you MUST have SD/PCU experience to be considered. **Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, but they can be up to 1:5-6***Unit participates/may participate in team nursing model where RNs, LPNs, and PCTs partner together to care for a group of patients. The goal of this model is to divide the work and not the patients, ultimately improving both the workload and patient care. Nurses may function in either team nursing or primary nursing depending on the needs of the unit.**Must have EPIC experience Must have the following requirements: Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment. BLS, ACLS required - must be able to read and interpret strips Experience with drawing ABGs. Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed.1.5 years and level 1 or 2 is preferred Travel experience preferred Floating and Other Requirements: Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion. Agency will float in/out of specialty clusters. It will be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to, including high-risk respiratory unit/COVID. If assigned to MVH, this could include floating main campus (Dayton) south campus (Centerville) less than 10 miles from Main Campus and North Campus (Englewood) less than 15 miles from Main Campus. Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday. Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract. Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine. Travelers are not eligible for Premier health employee incentives. Unit Details:Working with Tele/drips/draw ABGs.ACLS certified cardiac procedures like cardiac catheterizations ablations pacers ICDs. We take Cardizem, Cardene, dobutamine, dopamine, heparin, nitro, and insulin drips. Navy Blue ScrubsRTORequest RTO with initial submittal; NO RTO will be added after the offer.
