Registered Nurse – NICU (Night Shift)
Location: Cary, NC (with floating to Raleigh & North Campus as needed)
Schedule: Nights, 7p–7a
Hours: 36 hours/week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: March 9, 2026
Interview: Phone interview; feedback within 72–96 hours
Position Overview
The Registered Nurse – NICU provides specialized, intensive, around-the-clock care for pre-term and at-term newborns experiencing complications at birth. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to respond quickly in critical situations, and a compassionate approach to supporting infants and their families.
You will work in a Level 3–4 NICU environment, delivering both advanced medical care and essential daily care activities for vulnerable newborns.
Minimum Requirements
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
• One year of NICU experience required (Level 3 or higher; Level 4 preferred)
• Current CPR certification (if applicable)
• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
Assignment Details
• Full-time, 13-week contract
• Weekends and holidays as needed
