Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute your professional and clinical expertise in the provision and management of care for critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care to patients in critical condition.
• Collaborate with team members across various disciplines to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Work Schedule

• Shift: Days starting at 0700
• Work Duration: 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of previous nursing experience required.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI.
• Experience with critical care patients, including cardiac, trauma, and neuro cases.
• State License: Iowa (Compact Allowed).
