Job Description

This position requires a dedicated and skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care in the Labor & Delivery unit, including post-partum care and care for the Baby Unit. Flexibility is essential as the role will also involve floating to other units and managing overflow from the Progressive Care Unit.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in Labor & Delivery
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for laboring patients, post-partum recovery, and newborns
• Monitor patients' conditions and respond effectively to emergencies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other units as needed and care for overflow from the Progressive Care Unit
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
