CT Technologist - Contract Position

Location: Salisbury, Maryland
Facility: Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Tidal Health

Job Summary

• Provide quality diagnostic imaging services under the guidance of radiologists and Radiology Director.
• Perform CT imaging with a patient-focused approach, demonstrating independent thought and critical thinking.
• Manage patients using age-specific assessment, communication, and knowledge of physical and mental capabilities.

• GE PRO 16 slice CT Scanner
• GE VCT 64 slice CT Scanner (2 units)
• GE CTI CT Scanner
• MRM Radiology Computer Terminals
• Hewlett Packard Laser Printers
• McKesson PACS Hardware
• GE Independent Workstation

Licensure and Certification Requirements

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with CT certification
• Must maintain Maryland State Certification to practice Radiologic Technology
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)

Department Information

• Typically works with one other technologist per shift
• Scrub color: Gray

Contract Details

• Length: 13 weeks

Additional Requirements

• Active ARRT (CT) Certification
• Active Maryland CT license
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Candidates living within 100 miles of Salisbury are not eligible due to radius rule
• Candidates must disclose any required time off during the assignment
• Experience with listed equipment preferred
