Location: Quitman, Texas

Job Details
- Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation
- Shift: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
- Travel Experience: Not required
- Minimum Experience: 1 year
- Charting System: EPIC required
- Local Traveler: Not available for residents of certain nearby counties
Required Certifications (as applicable)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
- CHEMO (Chemotherapy)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
- NIH Stroke Certification
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
- State License Verification (Primary source online verification required)
- NURSYS Verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
- Tech Cert Verification - National (for Allied Professionals)
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (HIPAA compliance)
Required Competencies
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (80% score or meet/exceed Angoff score)
- Color Blind Testing (Relias online version acceptable)
- Competency Exam (minimum passing score 80% or Angoff score)
- Core Parts I, II, III (annual completion for subcontractors)
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical Exam within 12 months of start
- Fit Mask Test within 1 year of start (annual renewal required)
- Adult Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
- Negative TB test (2-Step PPD, QGOLD, or TSPOT) within 1 year
- TB Questionnaire (required annually if positive TB test)
- Immunizations or positive titers for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (or declination)
- Varicella (or documented history)
- Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start
- Seasonal Flu Vaccination (required during flu season)
- COVID-19 Vaccination or approved Medical/Religious Exemption (declinations not accepted)
Background and Compliance Checks
- 7-year Background Check (updated annually) including SS trace, county searches, nationwide, sex offender, and education verification
- EPLS/GSA/SAM checks upon hire
- HHS/OIG checks upon hire
- Employment Application and Resume required
- Unit Specific Skills Checklist (annual)
- Education Verification (highest level required)
- Work History Verification (7 years)
- Fingerprinting (New Mexico placements only, onsite during orientation)
Additional Notes
- Clear headshot photo required for badge
- Various internal attestations and documentation required (I9, Driver’s License/State ID, E-Verify)
- Local residents from specified counties are not eligible for this contract
