Travel RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Location: Terre Haute, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Number of Beds: 10
- Number of Staff: 2
- Patient Ratios: 1-2 patients per nurse
- Shift Coverage: Day shift primarily; some night shifts
- Typical Procedures: Postoperative care for general, urological, orthopedic, obstetric, and robotic cases
Schedule
- Day shifts
- 1-2 call nights per week (7 PM - 7 AM)
- 2-3 weekend days per 4-week schedule (7 AM - 7 AM)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hospital experience
- Active Compact Registered Nurse License at time of submission
- Certifications required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications will be prioritized
