Job Opportunity: Rad Tech - Radiology

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, Level III neonatal intensive care unit
Only children’s hospital in the region with pediatric emergency room and 30 pediatric subspecialists

Unit Information

Department: Imaging Diagnostic (DX Radiology)
Location: 2nd floor, F tower
Number of Beds: 800
Staffing:
- Day Shift: 16 technologists + supervisor
- Evening Shift: 10 technologists, 2 student techs + supervisor
- Night Shift: 4 technologists + supervisor
Equipment: GE Rad rooms, Portable GE and Shiatzu, C-arms OEC, O-arms Medtronics
EMR System: Cerner Rad Net

Job Requirements

Valid Radiology Technologist license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, with experience within the last year
ARRT (R) Certification
BLS Certification
Proficient in all areas of diagnostic radiology including portable and OR imaging
Experience working with Level 1 and Level 2 Trauma patients

Additional Information

Weekend rotation required
Dress code: Black scrubs
