Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (40 hours per week)
• Units Covered: Adult medical, surgical, and ICU units
• Floating: Required as needed
• First-time travelers accepted based on experience

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) license in South Carolina
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC; RQI acceptable)
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License (required for computer access and must be carried on duty)
• Background check covering 7 years, including alias and state/county searches where candidate has lived/worked
• E-Verify or attestation
• Education verification of highest level completed (diplomas not accepted as placeholders)
• Primary source verification of state license with no pending actions; license must be current and valid for South Carolina
• Physical exam within 1 year attesting ability to meet job demands (chiropractor statements not accepted)
• Drug screening within 1 year, 5-panel minimum (marijuana, cocaine, opiates, amphetamines, benzodiazepines)
• Immunizations and health screenings:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days (True 2-step PPD, QF Gold, or Tspot)
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years if working/floating in high-risk areas
  • Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption (seasonal requirement)
  • Documentation of immunity or vaccination for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Hepatitis B (or signed declination)
• Badge photo meeting facility specifications (passport style, light background, no obstructions)
• Completion of online orientation modules within 72 hours of assignment (not required for prebook candidates)
• Pre-assignment testing (medication and arrhythmia tests) with two attempts allowed; must be completed within 72 hours of receiving login info (not required for prebook candidates)

Additional Notes

• Floating policy must be signed annually
• Candidates must carry valid ID and meet all facility-specific compliance checklists
• Respirator fit testing (N95) will be completed onsite during orientation
• Facility is latex-free; latex allergies are acceptable
