Description
Registered Nurse – Adult Psychiatric (Night Shift)
Location: State College, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: Nights (two 18:45–07:15 shifts and two 22:45–07:15 shifts per week, every other weekend)
Hours per Week: 40
Job Summary
- Provide direct professional nursing care to adult psychiatric patients.
- Assess patient needs, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum of 2 years of behavioral health nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Crisis Prevention Institute Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI NCI) training.
Additional Information
- Contract length interpreted as 13 weeks.
- Night shift schedule includes every other weekend work.
