Description

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Position

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
Beds: 8 Holding Bays and 4 Cath/EP suites
Staff: 16 total
Patient Ratio: 3 staff to 1 patient in procedural area
Equipment: Philips Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab, CardioLab for EP
EMR System: Meditech
Schedule: Day shift 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM; rotating on-call nights
On-call: Must take on-call responsibilities with the team
Housing: Must be located within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab

Typical Procedures

Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
Electrophysiology (EP) Ablations
Pacemakers, Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICDs), Cardioversions
Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
Tilt Table Tests
EP/Structural Heart and Right Heart monitoring

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- ARRT (R)
- RCIS or RCES certification
If holding RCIS or RCES, must be willing and able to apply for Fluoroscopy Operator registration in Colorado before starting

Preferred Qualifications

ARRT (CI) or (CV) certification preferred
Experience with scrubbing and monitoring during procedures
Prior experience with Meditech EMR system
