Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT is responsible for performing CT procedures accurately, timely, and reliably. The role involves evaluating radiology procedures, equipment, and staff to ensure quality service for patients, medical staff, employees, and regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information
• Comply with hospital policies related to incident reporting
• Perform CT procedures as requested by referring physicians
• Practice radiation safety for patients and co-workers
• Participate in Radiology Management System functions related to patient procedures
• Provide patient education as needed
• Communicate effectively with referring physicians and radiologist staff to ensure efficient CT procedure delivery
• Follow service delivery standards of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology
• Adhere to accepted clinical principles, methods, and procedures during CT procedures
