MRI Technologist I

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Hours per Week: 36 hours (12 hours per day)

Job Summary

This entry-level position works under immediate to general supervision to develop competencies in delivering specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services for adult and pediatric patients. The role supports medical staff in diagnosis, care, treatment, and monitoring of a range of conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality, and efficient patient-centric care in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, urgent care, and outreach clinics.
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams to achieve clinical and operational goals.
• Operate specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional, or surgical procedures within scope of practice.
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure documentation completeness and technical quality per protocols and accreditation standards.
• Transfer images and data to archival systems, enter technical findings, and prepare studies for physician reporting.
• Perform operator-level quality control, cleaning, and high-level disinfection of equipment following manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in continuing education, professional development, and research to maintain competencies and improve care.

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

• No prior travel experience required
• Preferred education: Associate’s degree or higher (not mandatory)
