Description

As travel nurses ourselves, we understand the reasons to avoid an agency you haven't worked with. To reward you for giving us a chance, we'll include a $1,000 bonus on your 1st paycheck, when you work your 1st assignment (of 8 weeks or more) with us.

DON’T SUBMIT IF TRAVELER DOES NOT HAVE PEDS EXPERIENCE. Will automatically be redirected. No exceptions, will be removed from consideration if no peds exp on profile. Traveler could be floated to every unit except OR, PACU and ED. The units include PICU, NICU, medical, surgical, hem/onc, medical bevavioral unit. They have, on rare occasion, floated to Bernardy Center. **RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING WITH ETAs of when it will post** Required: • CA License • 2+ years of CVICU or CCU exp (will consider PICU RN with strong CV EXP) • PEDS Cardiac exp • Heart transplant experience • Willing to float between units • BLS • PALS • Experience in: Ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation Preferred: • Previous travel exp • Previous Children's Hospital exp • EPIC exp Shifts: (discussed in interview) • Will consider 3x12s and 4x12s or 36/48 alternating, variable or nights • Can choose18 or 26 week contracts • if traveler is on 3x12 schedules they may be required to pick up a 7th shift biweekly pending on unit/hospital census. Requested Time Off: 6 days total (must still get 3 shifts in week) if contract is 26 weeks can be flexible with offering 2-3 extra days Must work 2 of the 3 Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) Ratio:1:1-2 Unit Summary: 30-37 beds. Seeing post op cardiac surgical care, cardiology patients, complex congenital patients, acquired heart disease patients, heart transplantation, VAD’s and ECMO. Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice. Patients can range from neonatal up to 23. CVICU: ** requires travelers to be fully vaccinated for COVID (including the booster if traveler is in the timeframe for needing the booster to be considered fully vaccinated). Please ensure your traveler’s DOB is correct in our system, it is important for to have the correct information as traveler’s DOB is used for a first-time password for the systems and can delay orientation if it is incorrect in our system.
