Description

As travel nurses ourselves, we understand the reasons to avoid an agency you haven't worked with. To reward you for giving us a chance, we'll include a $1,000 bonus on your 1st paycheck, when you work your 1st assignment (of 8 weeks or more) with us.

**RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING WITH ETAs of when it will post** Required: • 2 full years of recent PICU experience (PICU experience must be within the last year) • Willing to float between units (CVICU & NICU) • BLS • PALS • Experience in: Ventilators, multiple monitors, specifically CVP and EKG. Preferred: • Level 1 trauma • BSN • Previous PICU travel experience • Previous Children’s Hospital exp • Previous Teaching Hospital exp • EPIC exp Shifts: (discussed in interview) • 36/48 alternating, variable or straight night shifts • 3x12s option, Must be willing to work 7 shifts in a bi-weekly pay period • 4x12s optional as well 13 or 18 week contracts Requested Time Off: • Max 6 days off • Not approving time off over holidays - if traveler is contracted all 3 holidays, they are guaranteed 1 complete holiday off. Unit will ask which holiday they would prefer to be off but no guarantees. Ratio: 1:1-2 Unit Summary: High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, neurosurgery. Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice. ** requires travelers to be fully vaccinated for COVID (including the booster if traveler is in the timeframe for needing the booster to be considered fully vaccinated).
