Peds Surgical - 4/12s Days **2 years minimum experience required** Prefer 3 years or greater. Traveler may be 1 of only 2 RNs on per shift at night so experience is critical No 1st time travelers • Unit Details: o Average Daily Census: 9 o 16 rooms, 26 beds o Ratios are 1:4 o Float Required to NICU & PICU will receive 6 hours orientation to float units o Epic Charting o Every other weekend coverage o Self-Scheduling o Epilepsy unit- 4 beds designated, included in unit o All RN staff; no CNAs used • Patient Population: o Neonates, infants, peds, adolescents o Age: newborn through seventeen. o General med/surg. including respiratory, surgical, neurological and infectious conditions. o This is a 24-bed unit, four of which include epilepsy video telemetry monitoring). o High ad churn rate can vary from 4- 26 visits daily • Required Certs/Skills: o BCLS o PALS o BSN
