Job Opportunity – OR Tech / Surgical Tech – Burbank, CA 91505

Start Date: June 15, 2026

Location: Burbank, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (06:30 - 15:00). Call required approximately 4-6 times per 6-week schedule, including weekend call coverage. This is a 13-week travel assignment.

Acute care hospital with 392 staffed beds offering diverse surgical services
Experience with a wide range of procedures across general surgery, orthopedics, robotics, GYN, urology, neuro, and more

Scrubs provided in any color of your choice
Epic charting system preferred; Mediteach used for documentation
Comprehensive orientation provided (40 hours)

Requirements:

Current California state licensure (must be in hand prior to submission)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Minimum 1 year of recent surgical tech experience required
Community hospital experience required
LA County Fire Card obtained within the last 30 days
Proficiency with bronchoscopes, fiber optics, and flex sigmoidoscopes required
Preferred experience with pediatric patients
Epic charting experience preferred
Must be willing to float between facilities within the state as needed
Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
