Job Opportunity – Ultrasound Technologist – Petaluma, CA 94954

Start Date: June 29, 2026

Location: Northern California community hospital setting

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (variable start times: 6:30 AM or 11:00 AM), with opportunity for on-call coverage during night shifts. 13-week assignment.

Highlights:

• Comprehensive ultrasound practice including abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, breast, and emergency department imaging
• Experience with varied patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Epic charting system utilized throughout facility
• Opportunity to expand skills with ultrasound-guided procedures including biopsies and fine needle aspirations
• Community hospital environment with potential to float to affiliate facilities

Requirements:

• Active California Ultrasound license required prior to submission
• ARDMS certification in at least one category required
• ARRT (R) or RVT certification preferred
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
• Community hospital experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in general ultrasound procedures including OB, abdominal, vascular, and breast imaging
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
