**Exciting Opportunity for a Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic float team in a progressive care unit. - Minimum of every other weekend commitment. - Schedule adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs. - Requirements include: - AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (mandatory) - NIHSS certification required prior to start - Minimum 1 year of tele experience - Proficiency in managing insulin drips, cardiac drips, and starting IVs - Epic experience within the past 2 years (non-negotiable) - Additional Information: - Shifts available Monday to Sunday (no block schedules) - Must explain employment gaps over 90 days - Complete work history information is required for submission - Disclaimers: - Public transportation is not accessible in this area; reliable transportation is essential. - Personal vehicle or rental vehicle needed. - Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November to April. **Unit Overview:** - **Total Facility Beds:** 341 - **Unit Specialty:** Progressive Care - **Nurse to Patient Ratio:** 3:1 - **Staffing:** Telemetry tech and CNAs available for support - **Orientation:** 1-2 days - **Patient Population Diagnoses:** - Acute Coronary Syndrome - Cardiac diagnoses requiring closer monitoring - Post cardiac cath - Patients requiring insulin drip therapy, ETOH withdrawal management, and more **Dress Code Requirements:** - Scrubs: Navy blue or white - Shoes: Closed toe, non-skid - Jewelry: Minimal - Hair: Groomed and professional; no beards - Nail Polish: No artificial nails **Documentation and Medication Systems:** - Documentation System: EPIC - Medication System: MAK **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
