4Summary:
The Pool Retail Pharmacist will be responsible for all aspects of retail pharmacy operation within the assigned area including inventory, workflow and security with an emphasis on customer service. The Pharmacist will obtain information to fill prescriptions and refills, prepare compounds, oversee the stocking of the daily order and provide counseling of medications.
*** This position is not full time and will be scheduled "as needed" ***
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree from an ACPE accredited school is required
- Texas Pharmacist License or eligible for Texas Licensure as a registered pharmacist is required
- Pharmacist and Pharmacy Preceptor licensure must be obtained within 90 days of employment. New graduates must obtain their preceptor license within 90 days after one year of being licensed as a pharmacist
- ACPE Immunization certification is required
