Position Summary

The Nurse Manager is an excellent opportunity for those seeking to advance a meaningful career in patient care, services and operations. You will lead nursing staff with your dynamic nursing practice and oversee overall department operations.

As Nurse Manager at MultiCare, your leadership, delegation, and collaboration across your unit are essential to achieving the best possible outcomes and experiences for patients and families.

Responsibilities

  • You will define, develop, and monitor standards of patient care and nursing practices
  • You will ensure availability and appropriate allocation of human and material resources
  • Support successful collaboration between nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve desired patient care outcome and department strategic plans
  • You will coordinate towards the overall operations of assigned units and the provision of resources
  • Facilitate optimal and cost-efficient patient care delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 25+ years of service may be considered in lieu of education agreement
  • Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
  • Washington State Registered Nurse license (RN)
  • Minimum five (5) years of clinical experience in professional or technical role/function preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $131,639.00 - $181,809.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
