Description
Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is a full-service, non-profit Catholic hospital, sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy and a member of Trinity Health.
Job Summary:
• The Interventional Radiology Nurse will perform nursing activities in the Diagnostic Radiology, CT and MRI areas; Assists in the performance of Interventional Radiology procedures; monitors patients undergoing procedures, appropriately administering medications/contrast media and accurately documents activities; assists in the performance of Nuclear Medicine procedures and all related duties as assigned.
This position requires taking call up to 10 times per month. You will work the day shift.
Job Requirements
Education:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Bachelor's of Nursing is preferred.
Experience & Skills:
• Minimum of 2 yrs experience in a critical care or radiology area required.
• Ability to effectively prioritize work and work under stressful situations.
Licensure/Certification:
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Florida is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS are required.
