Labor & Delivery RN Job Details

Location: Keene, NH 03431 (New Hampshire travel nursing jobs)
Healthcare Setting: Birthing Pavilion – Labor & Delivery Unit
Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Contract
Start Date: December 22, 2025
End Date: March 21, 2026
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shifts: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 (option for 48 hours/week available)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2200–$2360

Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications

Minimum 1.5 years of recent Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse experience
Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact RN License (proof of state residency required)
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment
Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a state-of-the-art birthing unit
Monitor maternal and fetal health, assist with labor and delivery procedures, and provide family-centered support throughout the birthing process
Utilize hydrotherapy and advanced pain management techniques as appropriate
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate electronic health records and adhere to hospital policies and clinical protocols
Respond to obstetric emergencies and provide neonatal care in the nursery as needed
