Labor & Delivery RN Job Details
- Location: Keene, NH 03431 (New Hampshire travel nursing jobs)
- Healthcare Setting: Birthing Pavilion – Labor & Delivery Unit
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Contract
- Start Date: December 22, 2025
- End Date: March 21, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shifts: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 (option for 48 hours/week available)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2200–$2360
Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse experience
- Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact RN License (proof of state residency required)
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a state-of-the-art birthing unit
- Monitor maternal and fetal health, assist with labor and delivery procedures, and provide family-centered support throughout the birthing process
- Utilize hydrotherapy and advanced pain management techniques as appropriate
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and adhere to hospital policies and clinical protocols
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and provide neonatal care in the nursery as needed
