Illinois Nursing Job Details

• Location: Rushville, Illinois (zip 62681) – Illinois healthcare jobs
• Unit: Adult Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) Unit
• Assignment Duration: 13-week travel contract (Start: 12/7/2025 – End: 3/8/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (6:30pm – 7:00am), 3 nights/week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780–$1910 per week
• Employment Type: Travel RN position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in the State of Illinois
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience in Med/Surg or acute care (2 years preferred)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical support skills

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care to adult Med/Surg patients in a hospital setting
• Supervise and support LPNs, Nursing Assistants, and fellow RNs when assigned as charge nurse
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
