Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 – $2,430
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Shift Length: 8 hours (5 shifts per week)
• Location: On-site at a hospital facility in Flemington, NJ (Hunterdon County) — Central New Jersey mammography job
• No on-call or weekend work required

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (R)(M) certification required
• Valid New Jersey state licensure
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in mammography (screening and diagnostic)
• Strong knowledge of mammographic positioning, imaging techniques, and breast imaging protocols
• Excellent patient communication and compassionate patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a radiology team
• Experience with GE mammography equipment preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams according to established protocols and MQSA/ACR guidelines
• Ensure accurate positioning and image acquisition for optimal radiologist interpretation
• Provide patient education about procedures, address concerns, and ensure patient comfort during breast imaging
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment, performing routine quality control and safety checks
• Accurately document patient history, exam findings, and maintain records in compliance with HIPAA and facility policies
• Collaborate with radiologists, breast surgeons, and clinical staff to support timely diagnosis and patient care
• Adhere to regulatory and quality assurance requirements for clinical mammography services
