Description

Job Summary (Acute Care Occupational Therapist)

- Provide acute care occupational therapy services in an outpatient therapy clinic setting.
- Treat a daily caseload of 8-11 patients, collaborating with PT, SLP, and other healthcare providers.
- Work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with no weekends, on call, or floating required.
- Utilize Cerner for charting and documentation.
- Adhere to quality and patient safety standards, including medication administration guidelines.
- Interact with multidisciplinary teams, including orthopedics, neuro, and primary care providers.
- Maintain business casual attire as the required dress code.
- Ensure licensure and certifications are current: AZ OT License, BLS, AZ Fingerprint Card (Hand Therapy Certification highly preferred).
- Participate in a guaranteed 40-hour work week, with facility-allowed call-offs (up to 6 times per 13-week assignment).
- Free parking available on-site at Flagstaff Medical Center.
- Open to first-time travelers and local candidates; 1 year of OT experience required.
- Request time off (RTO) must be approved by the facility.
