Schedule: Monday through Friday with backup call coverage 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM weekdays; weekend and holiday coverage 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM as needed; daily census of approximately 10 patients

Highlights:

Perform a comprehensive range of interventional radiology procedures including neuro, vascular interventions, biopsies, and stroke cases
Work with advanced technology and equipment in a 3-room department supporting both inpatient and outpatient populations
40 hours of structured orientation to ensure successful integration into the team
EMR experience with Cerner preferred; exposure to Phillips, Toshiba, or GE systems valued
Two pre-approved time-off periods available during assignment
Local candidates welcome; must reside within 45-minute radius for call backup requirements

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience as an IR Technologist
Active Maryland state license or compact license; pending licenses accepted if posted prior to start date
ARRT(R) and ARRT(VI) certifications required
BLS and ACLS certifications; Fluoro permit required
Neuro experience required; must demonstrate competency with neurological interventions
Scrub experience mandatory for sterile procedural support
Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccination not required
Experience with nephrostomy, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, hemodynamic monitoring, and stroke protocols essential
