Cath Lab Technologist – Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Job Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days, 4 shifts of 10 hours each (shift times vary: 05:30-16:00, 06:30-17:00, 07:30-18:00)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Call Requirements:
- On-call 1 time per week
- On-call 1 weekend every 3-4 weeks
- 30-minute response time
- Mandated to fill any vacant call not picked up
- Unit Details:
- 8 fluoroscopy rooms
- 1 minimally invasive room without fluoroscopy
- No floating to other units
Job Description
- Scrub, circulate, and monitor peripheral/vascular cases, right and left heart catheterizations
- Possibly scrub devices and assist in electrophysiology (EP) cases
- Use equipment and systems including XIM (Philips), EPIC, Pyxis, Xcelera, Siemens and Philips fluoroscopy systems
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist within the last year
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Additional Information
- Orientation focuses on monitoring in XIM and effective scrubbing and circulating; EP experience is a plus
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have ended employment at least 6 months prior to submission
- Local placements within an 80-mile radius
